A man who is suspected of buying drugs on the internet has been jailed for four years and will lose a chance to prove his innocence, the Department of Justice announced today.
Punjab's Punjab district court had decided against the sale of the drugs in order to promote the use of the anti-impotence drug Viagra.
The judge also ordered the government to pay up to $25,000 in damages to the plaintiff after she complained of an alleged misuse of the drugs.
On 2 December, 2018, the court imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 and ordered her to pay all expenses.
